Frequently Asked Questions

We are in the process of updating our system and due to new requirements cannot provide credit for videos watched until these enhancements have been completed. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

How do I receive CME credit for videos that I watch?

  • The first step is to register on the website. Choose your own name and password.
  • After you have registered, be sure to login with your user name and password.
  • Select the video you wish to watch.
  • After you have watched the video, you will see a “Take Evaluation” icon appear underneath the location information. If you are watching the video in full screen mode, you will need to hit the ‘Esc’ button on your keyboard.
  • Take the evaluation.
  • Once completed, the Website Administrator receives notification that you have completed the evaluation.
  • Videos are given a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, per activity
At present, this CME credit service is available only for physicians on the staff at PTMC.

Please view the Accreditation Statement on this site. For additional questions or concerns, please contact The Coordinator of Continuing Medical Education, at (818) 708-5139 or via email at susan.pines@providence.org .

How do I register on the website?

To get registered with the website is easy. The first thing you should do is go to this website [URL]. If you have not already registered click the “Register” link located in the top right corner of the website. You will be asked to provide some information about yourself. Only the following fields are required:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Login
  • Password
  • Retype Password
All other fields are optional. If you wish to receive the PTMC calendar by email simply check the box located at the bottom of the page.

I’ve registered, now how do I log in?

Simply enter your username and password in the fields provided at the top right corner of the page. When you have entered your username and password either press the ‘enter’ key on your keyboard, or click ‘go’. Remember, the password is case sensitive. If your password contains any capital letters you will need to enter them exactly as you did at the time the password was created.

How do I watch a video?

Click the ‘Play’ button in the middle of the screen for the video you wish to watch. If you do not see the video you wish to review on the home page, click the video tab. By default the most recent video will be in the playback window. To the right of the playback window are five most recent preceding videos. If the video you wish to view is not in this group, click view more videos located at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side. The page will reload and display a list of all the videos that are available for you to watch. This list is divided into pages of twenty videos each. If the page you are viewing does not contain the video you wish to watch, simply select another page from the drop down menu.

The video is really small and it’s hard to make out details, or read text. Is there a way to make it bigger?

Yes. You can view the video in full screen mode by clicking the full screen button located between the percent loaded/time remaining and volume control. The full screen mode button looks like this:

There are too many videos to go through one by one looking for the one I want to watch. Is there another way to find the video I need?

Yes. Click “View More Videos” to view the full, paginated list of all the videos currently available in the system. At the top of this list just below the title “Search” is a “Search Term” field. Enter a word or short phrase that is relevant to the video you wish to view and click “Go.” The system will return all videos that match the search term you entered. Results may be filtered by Event, Video, or Both.
